Welcome to CayFilm 2017. Schedule could have small changes as we get closer to event.
All ages are welcome unless it has a MATURE rating. Those films need an adult to accompany anybody aged 17 or under.

Cassandra Shea

Prior to joining NGCI as their Events Coordinator, Cassandra worked as a commercial sub agent in California through the boutique agency Trio Talent Agency. During this time, she also produced and wrote multiple film and television projects through the production company BGBA Media Group, which she co-owned.

Graduating from St. Ignatius High School in Grand Cayman, Cassandra holds a BFA in Film from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and teaching diplomas in English Literature and Psychology. Cassandra has worked in numerous sketch and improv shows in Los Angeles upon completing intermediate courses at the top improv schools (Groundlings, iO West, Second City and UCB) and continued to learn under her mentors Caitlin Muelder (‘Hail, Caesar!’) and Suzanne Kent (‘Rugrats’, and an Original Groundlings) as she teaches.

Cassandra has performed alongside Andrew Bachelor (KingBach on the social media app Vine), Nicole Bryer (‘Girl Code’), Carly Chaikin (‘Mr. Robot’) and John Mark Loudermilk (‘Power Rangers Megaforce’) to name a few. Her continued areas of research are centered on gender studies, and further education to the digitally native “generation”.

Cassandra is a current member and recently voted Curator (2017-18) of Global Shapers in Grand Cayman. This network of hubs, developed and led by young people, brings together like minded people who are driven to make a contribution in their communities. With a passion for acting, Cassandra volunteers her time away from NGCI to teaching the art of acting and improvised theatre to the community and has chosen to pursue a career in a creative environment to champion for inclusive artistry, collaborative productions and provoke conversation for the arts community.
