Madeline Barr is from Denver, Colorado where she attended the Denver School of the Arts as a theatre major. She graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Experimental Theatre Wing. She resides in Brooklyn, New York where she works as an actress, director, and theater maker. In winter of 2016 she won a grant from the New York Society Library's "Emerging Female Playwrights" program for her part in devising collage play "Three", directed by Stephen Spinella.
