This is a short fiction film, based on a mentally challenged child. The character named in this film ‘SAI’, an eight year old boy, is mentally challenged since birth. Because of which Sai’s parents, instead of schooling him in a special needs school school for his development, kept him at home for eight years. Unaware of the outside world, Sai was leading a painful life. Amidst four walls suffering mentally and physically the days passed. After some days Sai’s dad appointed a Caretaker to look after him. But Sai’s happiness and independence lasted only for a few days. That happiness slowly vanished by the mental and physical torture given to him by the cruel caretaker. One day Sai will go missing because of the carelessness of the caretaker. Later, with the help of someone, Sai will be enrolled in a mentally challenged school. It is six months since he went missing. He was brought up in school like an orphan child and school will be a good for him, and gives him rebirth. In school, his life takes a turning point. With the education, extracurricular activities and sports within six months his brain was developing and he was transforming to a normal child. His parents who were looking for him from 6 months, come to the school where Sai was residing. They were very happy looking at Sai transforming into a normal child within six months. They realized the mistake that they committed by keeping Sai at home amidst four walls. For his bright future, they decided to continue Sai’s schooling in that same school. So, This fiction short film will come to an end by the passing of Sai from the school.
